Through this new design, we were able to include drop-down ventilation panels on both front thighs, calf adjustable straps, as well as small mesh utility stash pockets—emphasis on small!—despite most of the thigh being dedicated to the mesh panels for ventilation. Higher quality materials are also used to ensure the Sand 5 H2O pants carry you through whatever adventure you embark on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Over and Under Concept\u003cbr\u003eWe’ve taken our know-how of the proven over and under waterproof liner concept and applied it to our Sand 5 H2O Ladies pants. Wear the detachable liner over or under your protective, CE certified layer according to your personalized preference for keeping the rain away—and keeping you dry. The waterproof liner, made of resilient 3L hydratex material, has reinforcements at the seat and inside of the knees for long-term durability. The waistband of the main trousers—aka the protection layer—comes with a belt buckle and a stretch insert strategically positioned at the center front of the pant for improved comfort when sitting. The RWL (removable waterproof layer) is equipped with a snap with two-position adjustment.
