Ducati Smart Air Vest

The fabric vest with integrated Ducati Smart Air airbag, developed in collaboration with longtime partner Dainese, focuses on safety while also taking comfort and versatility to a new level. Lightweight, ventilated and compact, it can be worn over or under any outerwear and folded easily when not in use. The system requires no connection to the bike and has a rechargeable battery that allows up to 12 hours of riding time to ensure maximum freedom of use. Fitted with Dainese's patented, water-resistant Airbag D-air® system, it is triggered immediately in the event of a slip, high-side, impact with objects, rear-end collisions or vehicle stop. Furthermore, it is optimized for road use with seven sensors, offering certified Level 2 protection both on the chest and back. In addition, thanks to the D-air® Road Shield 3X system, it allows three activations before a service call is needed to replace the bag by simply changing the recharge cartridge independently after each inflation. Supplementing the safety equipment are reflecting inserts on the garment to improve visibility. The ergonomic structure of this garment, designed with unisex fitting in mind, is optimized by its adjustable volume with zippers to provide an excellent fit for both him and her. The modern look of the vest is accentuated by the Ducati logo on the back and eye-catching red graphics on the sides. The perfect ally to get on board and enjoy the ride.

Protectors:

• Control unit equipped with 7 sensors monitors and processes data 1,000 times per second. The algorithm controls the activation of the airbag in the event of a slide, fall, impact with an object or other vehicle, or rear-end collision (even in the event of an impact with a stationary vehicle, like when stopping at intersections)
• Protects the rider's back and vital parts. Protection afforded is equivalent to that of 7 back protectors, and covers a larger area yet takes up less space than a back protector
